About

Hapa Wear Enterprises is a small, family-owned apparel company whose mission is to advocate for suicide prevention & awareness, and for mental health, by sharing our story & the love for our HAPA with others, through our products. 

Inspired by Ho'olokahi Kamaehu "Hapa" Aki.  

On June 4, 2017, we lost our baby brother, Hapa, to suicide, after struggling with depression and drug addiction. His name, Ho'olokahi, meaning to bring together, described him perfectly. The youngest of nine siblings, Hapa had a talent for bringing out the best in others. 

Hapa Wear humbly seeks the opportunity to encourage those who may find themselves in similar situations or are at risk of doing so. We believe that everyone deserves a chance at true happiness, no matter what their story may be, and that this can be most achieved by starting with our families.
